General
Refuse transfer semi-trailer is used to transport the refuse and waste collected in the cities by the garbage trucks to landfills far away from the city economically. The refuse semi-trailer has the capacity to carry 6-10 garbage trucks load depends on the truck's size.

Body
ST-52 Sheet metal, side walls are 3-4mm thick, bottom walls are 5-6mm thick, body is reinforced circumferentially with frames made from "U" section members, a rail is in the bottom center of the body for the ejection plate.
Tailgate
Tailgate is made from 4mm thick ST-52 sheet metal closing the body at the rear end. Tailgate is top hinged and opens upwards by means of two double acting hydraulic cylinders automatically locked when closed, a special formed rubber sealing element is fitted between the body and the tailgate.
Compression & Ejection Plate
The body compression & ejection plate are moving longitudinally compressing refuse loaded inside the body from front to backward and discharging from the rear end after opening the tailgate.
Compressing refuse backward is done by means of back and front movement of a single stage double acting hydraulic cylinder of Ø 180-2500mm loaded inside the body from the front top opening and discharging the refuse from the rear end after opening the tailgate by means of stepwise movement of the ejection plate. There is no telescopic cylinder for this operation.
A hydraulic power unit mounted on the ejection plate powered by a 55 hp diesel engine with full hydraulic and electrical installation mounted on the same with the following working principals:
A- During compression
Single stage double acting hydraulic cylinder moves the compression plate backwards to sweep and compress the refuse loaded inside the body from the front top opening, this is a fast front and back movement unlike semi-trailers use telescopic cylinders. Estimated loading time is 20 minutes with continuous loading.
B- During discharging
After tailgate is opened, the ejection plate is moved backward till the end of the stroke of the main cylinder, then the hydraulic lock on the central rail of the front connection of the main cylinder is opened, while the cylinder is closed, front connection moves backward to the ejection plate to be locked at the end of the closed length of the main cylinder, then the same opening/closing action is made till the rear end of the body simultaneously. Estimated discharging time is 15 minutes.
Loading Opening & Cover
A loading opening in front top of the body with 2100mm X 2150mm dimensions with a hydraulic opening cover.
Chassis
A Sub-Frame under the body with axle and suspension, landing legs and king pin to form a chassis SEMITRAILER, main beams are made by welding of 15mm X 120mm bottom flat steel and 5mm thick ST-52 central plates connected with each others, with passing through cross members under the body.
10 mm thick ST-52 fifth wheel plate with 3 � king pin according to DIN NORMS made from 42CRMo4 steel.
